Ultrastar Deluxe Rap Edition

Ultrastar Deluxe didn't have any support for rap notes until around the end of 2016, beginning of 2017, and its use isn't even really that well known in general. And, since the official stable release doesn't have the rap note support, I'll be sharing my build.

Note that I'll only be sharing the executable, since the entire package would be about 50 MB. So, before you could use it, you could just download a pre-built package, then overwrite the executable with this version.

Note that if you download a build that's recent, chances are it already has rap notes. If it doesn't, you could always just build it yourself if you really want to be sure you have the latest version.

Vocaluxe

Currently rap notes are in the works for Vocaluxe. While progress is slow, it is at a point where the notes work.

Right now, Vocaluxe interprets rap notes as freestyle notes, which means you could technically use songs with rap notes in the official Vocaluxe build.

If you do want somewhat functional rap notes instead, you can compile from the rap branch of my personal fork. It works, but quite a few things need to be done to be ready to be deployed.

You're also free to improve on this branch yourself if you feel like it. Right now the graphics need to be replaced, and there is no form of rhythm detection, making it easy to cheat your way through these notes.

Releasing a minimal compiled build is a lot harder with Vocaluxe than with UltraStar Deluxe, considering several libraries also need to be compiled, and the fact that Vocaluxe was built on a version of Visual Studio that is no longer available.

Nevertheless, try it out with the latest release. If it doesn't work, try cloning or downloading the Output folder, as it might contain the proper libraries needed to run it.
